maui – one man against the gods

Over 15,000 people watched excerpts of "Maui - One Man Against The Gods" perform at the Koowhiti Dance 2011 performances at the Wellington Opera House and The Cloud and Queen Wharf's mainstage in Auckland during the Rugby World Cup in September 2011. The Real NZ Festival and NZ Lotteries Commission who sponsored the perfomances created a fabulous festival and we flew high in the air like our fantastic All Blacks did bringing home the World Cup.

We are currently investigating a tour to Hawaii in O'ahu in April 2013, and will keep you in touch with how the mission to bring "Maui" to his other homeland is going. It has always been a big dream of Tanemahuta Gray to share the beauty, wisdom and phenomenal abilities of our great Hercules of the Pacific, with our Hawaiian whanaunga.
